Does SMP hurt?

Discomfort is mild to moderate and varies by person. Most clients describe it as far easier than a tattoo.

How long does SMP last?

SMP lasts years. Sun exposure slowly fades it. We recommend quick colour boost touch-ups every 4-5 years to keep your SMP results perfect.

Will people know I’ve had SMP?

Friends may say you look different. Our clients feedback to us that typically no one notices. SMP is still very unheard of, so although people might think you look a little different they can rarely put their finger on why. A lot of the time they will ask if you have lost weight. If you don't tell anyone you've had SMP, they will never know.

Can I still have a transplant later?

Yes. SMP doesn’t stop you from having a hair transplant and can often compliment it. If you have your SMP treatment first then you need to wait at least 6 weeks before you can have a hair transplant. If you have a hair transplant first, you will need to wait 12 months before you can have SMP.

What about different skin tones or grey hair?

We adjust the pigment shade and technique so your SMP results remain soft and natural across all skin tones and hair colours.
