What is scalp micropigmentation?
A Detailed Guide
Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is a cosmetic hair loss treatment that creates the illusion of a full head of closely shaved hair or, adds density to thinning hair to make it look thicker and fuller.
"Scalp micropigmentation is now the most popular and effective solution for hair loss in the UK"

How Does Scalp Micropigmentation Work?
Scalp micropigmentation (SMP) is a simple process.
We deposit very small droplets of pigment into your scalp using a tiny needle. These droplets replicate the size, shape and colour of real hair follicles.
We use a type of needle called a nano needle. They are 0.15mm in diameter. Or, one seventh of a millimetre. Our needle creates a smaller dot than the full stop at the end of this sentence.
The pigment is deposited into your scalp to a depth of one millimetre into the skin. There is no bleeding or scabbing. Just a little redness for a day or so. The pigment we use is formulated for scalp micropigmentation so it can never change colour.
Your SMP slowly lightens over the years, with colour boost touch-ups recommended ever 5-6 years.
Scalp micropigmentation is, carried out over two sessions. At each session we cover the entire area of missing hair and blend into any existing hair you have on the sides and back. We add more density at each session.
It doesn't matter what angle someone is looking at you from, front, side or back. It will look as though you, simply choose to shave your hair.
You can choose any shape of hairline you like. You can have a nice soft natural hairline. Or you can decide to have a dense edge up hairline. It's totally up to you.
That's the beauty of scalp micropigmentation there are many options available.
We can also treat clients who still have hair but it's beginning to thin. We deposit the dots between hair follicles to create a thicker fuller head of hair.
"You will have the look of a full head of hair from the first session"

How does scalp micropigmentation compare to a hair transplant?
Features of A Hair Transplant
• Hair transplants are expensive, (£3500 - £10500).
• If you are having a transplant in Turkey you have the added hassle of travelling their and back, sometimes on multiple occasions, not to mention the lack of proper regulation if anything goes wrong.
• They require Surgery, which can be painful (especially the local anesthetic injections).
• They have length recovery times (a minimum of 2 weeks off work).
• It can take up to 12 months before you start to see any results.
• Whether you have and FUT or FUE transplant you will always have scarring on the back and sides of your head which you will have for your entire life.
Unlike hair transplants which are costly, require surgery, have lengthy recovery times, leave scarring and are not guaranteed to work. Scalp Micropigmentation works 100% of the time. It’s non-invasive, requires no surgery.leave no scarring, no recovery time and is affordable
