Pre-care

It's really important that the skin on your scalp is in good condition for each scalp micropigmentation session. We have put together instructions below. Please follow them exactly. This will make sure your skin isn't too dry and we can give you the best results possible. If your scalp is too dry then we will have to reschedule your appointment so please read and follow the instructions below. If its a density treatment you are coming in for, instead of the instructions below wash your hair at least 3 times on the week leading up to your appointment with an anti-dandruff shampoo and then condition it.

Many thanks,

  Colin

Pre-care instructions

1.

Moisturise your scalp

Moisturise your scalp with Coco butter at least twice a day every day for seven days on the lead up to each appointment. You can purchase Coco butter from Tesco's, Asda or Boots for approximately £4

2.

Exfoliate your scalp

Exfoliate your whole scalp (even into your existing hair) with an exfoliating glove and warm water whilst in the shower or bath. Do not use any products, just warm water. Use a firm pressure in circles.  Do this at least 3 times on the week leading up to each appointment. Make sure one of the times is the evening before each appointment. You might look in the mirror and not see any dry skin, however it is there. Its microscopic and I will be able to see it with magnifiers on. Exfoliating gloves can be purchased at Boots or Tesco's for approximately £2
